LATEST NEWS:  'Forgotten Gold' Appeal

The IHF has recently joined the Forgotten Gold appeal to encourage people to donate any old, broken or unwanted gold jewellery to a good cause. With gold prices at their highest in many years, now is the time for you to check if you have any old jewellery you may no longer want, or broken pieces that are not repairable. Regardless of condition or age, this gold has a potential value, and Forgotten Gold provides you with a safe and easy way to dispose of it -AND to donate to a worthwhile charity at the same time. It's a win-win situation! - just click on www.forgottengoldappeal.com for details.

Donations

There are many ways you can make a personal donation to the Irish Hospice Foundation.  Click here for more information.

Corporates - charity partnerships

With more and more companies developing formal strategies in the area of corporate and social responsibility (CSR), we have a dedicated executive, backed up by our professional Fundraising team, to work together with companies and help them maximise the benefit tof a charity partnership with the Irish Hospice Foundation. Download our Corporate Partnerships Corporate Partnerships brochure and/or click here to find out more.

Get involved! - Marathons and more ...

From time to time we organise events or will know about events being organised by others around the country on our behalf.  Or, you might like to help us raise funds by participating in a pre-existing local or national event, such as a marathon. Check the 'Upcoming Events' panel on our home-page, where details are posted. See also get involved

Donations in lieu of wedding favours

Getting married soon?  Presenting every wedding guest with a small token has become popular ... but have you thought about making a donation to charity instead?  Click here for further information.

Special projects/publications

Over the years we have undertaken a number of high-profile fundraising projects based around specific 'products', such as The Whoseday Book; Artpack, Peter and The Wolf, LifeStory, and our 2009 runaway best-seller, Zest!, a cookery book featuring recipes from virtually all of Ireland's best-loved restaurants, which has now sold out. Watch this space for news of future projects of this type.

The Irish Hospice Foundation Phone Community - Greencom

You can support our work by joining the Irish Hospice Foundation Phone Community in association with Greencom. By switching your home/work phone to Greencom, you will ensure that a portion of the cost of every call you make is donated to the IHF - and you will also be getting value for money in terms of telephone/internet services.  Click here for further details.

National fundraising for hospice care

We also coordinate on behalf of voluntary hospice groups nationwide the two annual national fundraisers in aid of hospice care, Sunflower Days and Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning.  Funds raised on these days go direct to local hospice services.

For further details on any of the above, please call us on 01-6793188 and ask for Fundraising.
