GRANT SCHEME A: DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES - 2010 CALL NOW CLOSED
Description
Grants under this scheme are aimed at assisting development initiatives which reflect national policy at each of the three levels of palliative care. Note that capital development is excluded.
This scheme is open to clinicians, other professionals and/or managers in hospice/palliative care in Ireland. While it is also open to applicants from outside the area of specialist palliative care, a link to a palliative care service provider must be demonstrated - for example, applications in relation to such areas as heart failure, dementia, etc. are welcome, but will require a co-applicant from within specialist palliative care.
Applications with a focus on the following are particularly welcome:
- the development of high-quality services for people with palliative care needs.
- the equitable development of palliative care services across diagnoses, care settings and regions of Ireland
- support for carers of people with palliative care needs.
Informal enquires are encouraged: Please call 01-6793188 and ask for Marie Lynch or Orla Keegan.
The 2010 call under this scheme closed on 22nd February. Details ( 2010 Development Grants Call) remain posted here for the purpose of general information only. The outcome of this call will be posted here in due course
Please note that the alternative 'stream' under which IHF development grants were awarded in previous years - and which was open throughout the year - is currently on hold for budgetary reasons.
