The Irish Hospice Foundation runs a number of education and training programmes, primarily concerned with bereavement and loss. - Education programmes refer to courses accredited by external bodies.
- Training programmes take place on an on-going basis. Our customised training on grief in the workplace, which can be delivered off-site at a client's premises, is also included under this heading.
- We also run periodic training events in areas other than bereavement, e.g. research.
In addition, the IHF undertakes or participates in various strategic initiatives in education, such as the Palliative Care Education Taskforce.
